About the Role
The Procurement (Sourcing) Manager, Strategic Procurement Wind is responsible for facilitating requests for proposals and requests for information, vendor selection, contract negotiation, technology review support, and ongoing contract administration with an emphasis on Wind industry balance of plant construction (EPC) agreements.
Responsibilities
Support the Strategic Procurement team in achieving the team’s mission and objectives.
Maintain strategic relationships with existing key vendors, and manage EPC Contracts.
Support and facilitate bidding and contracting efforts for balance of plant (BOP) services.
Document historical, current, and future price forecasts for BOP costs and key commodities.
Analyze market trends and market intelligence to inform procurement strategies.
Review the scope of supply and scope of work on different contracts.
Interface with EPC contractors to gather market intelligence on current and future cost models.
Perform EPC performance reviews to better understand the risk and opportunities in the selection of EPC contractors.
Manage the development of RFP documentation, bidding strategies, identification, and qualification of bidders.
