About the Role
The Director, Field Operations - Geothermal Drilling is a multi-faceted managerial role that requires an extensive knowledge of construction and geothermal drilling methods, a history of successfully delivering large, complex construction projects, and the ability to lead and mentor staff.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize operational efficiency and achieve organizational goals within the assigned region.
Oversee day-to-day operations, including but not limited to, site personnel, following safety protocols, inventory management, logistics, and quality control.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and execution of operational strategies to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Analyze performance metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, vendors, and clients, to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Provide leadership and guidance to the operations team, including hiring, training, and performance management of assigned employees.
Ensure compliance with Brightcore safety and environmental health policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Lead and complete root cause analysis for hazards, near misses and injuries.
Prepare risk assessments and identify best practices to ensure operational performance and strategic initiatives.
Assigns and oversees field staff, fostering a strong safety culture, and providing tools and support for project execution.
Displays a leadership style that engages, motivates, and effectively drives high performance of employees, and promotes a culture of accountability.
Oversee DOT requirements for CDL drivers, maintaining logs, safety violations, and documentation to ensure continued compliance.
