About Tesla

The Technical Writer is part of Tesla’s Automation Development team that is at the forefront of building innovative automation equipment. This team challenges the frontiers of traditional manufacturing, creating complex automation equipment to produce Tesla vehicles, vehicle components and energy storage products across all manufacturing areas. The Technical Writer works with a team of talented engineers and assembly technicians to develop Tesla’s equipment operational, maintenance and diagnostic instructions. This role is expected to contribute to the team’s mission in a rapid and exponentially growing capacity. This role is based at our Elgin, IL location but will partner with second location in Brooklyn Park, MN as well and production locations worldwide.Tesla is a fast-paced working environment that celebrates highly motivated individuals.
