Tesla is looking for a Staff Electrical Design Engineer to add to their Manufacturing Engineering, Cell team. Responsible for developing, deploying, and advancing state of the art cell manufacturing equipment. This position will lead the power converter design and development for cell formation and manufacturing test equipment.As a Staff Electrical Design Engineer, you will be involved in and responsible for designs through the whole lifecycle of the project. This includes concept development, electrical architecture, specification gathering and development, design, prototyping, design for manufacture, validation, test, coordinating with manufacturing, deployment in the field, and failure analysis. A successful candidate will be technically strong, adaptable, and able to work with a cross-functional team to quickly push innovative solutions to the forefront.
