The Tesla Gigafactory New York Quality team is looking fora reliability Test Engineer passionate about our mission to accelerate thetransition to sustainable energy. You will support validation of our worldclass products, perform failure analysis, iterate product and test designs, and push the boundaries of our products functionality and reliability. This workr equires you to be extremely detail oriented, hold your work to the highest quality standards, and have the engineering drive to perpetually innovate. Testing requires collaboration with many engineering teams, reliability, design, integration etc. A team player mentality and exceptional communication is essential.In this role you will support testing of solar, charging and other Tesla Energy products. You’ll be responsible for designing test fixtures used for Tesla products built at Gigafactory New York, detailing test methodologies, performing and optimizing a wide variety of mechanical and electrical tests, data acquisition/analysis and presentation of results to wider teams.You will be supported by a small team of Quality Lab Technicians. You will manage, and set short and long term goals/priorities for your team
