About the Role

The Sales Hydro Services Manager will be responsible for driving profitable growth in the Eastern region of the US and Canada by developing and managing relationship with the various customers, while bringing new Services opportunities to the hydroelectric business.

Responsibilities

  • Have accountability for commercial growth and achieving financial target within the Region
  • Manage specific key customers in the region (governmental, public and private utilities, others)
  • Develop and strengthen customer relationship, increasing customer intimacy at plant level, in collaboration with the Senior Sales Manager
  • Provide leads and customer intelligence, sharing information and best practices
  • Be the customer advocate inside GE, bringing their voice to the business and ensuring that we act in a customer centric manner
  • Keep CRM tool updated and feed the business with precise information about upcoming deals
  • Promote the GE Store, and leverage his customer relationships to pull through additional business for other GE business units
  • Collaborate with Senior Sales Managers, Project Managers, Engineers, and the proposal team to develop strategy at the project and regional level
  • Represent Hydro Services at main Hydro events and conferences, pre-bid meetings and unit inspections
  • Work with absolute integrity and full adherence to the Ethics and Compliance rules, as well as the Spirit and the Letter (GE’s guiding principles around Ethics and Compliance).
  • Respect the EHS guidelines and promote safe and adequate behavior within and outside the company
  • Conduct site visits, client meetings, listen to customer needs and be ready to detect client issues and promote the adequate technical solutions
