Commissioning and service larger power electrical equipment mainly in Marine, Oil & Gas, and Industry business segments.
About the Role
In this role you will work within defined parameters to make decisions, apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity, and resolve problems through immediate action or short-term planning.
Responsibilities
Pre-commission, commission, and service static frequency converters (SFC) and variable frequency (VFD) low voltage and medium voltage drives/switchgear/transformers and power systems.
Provide technical assistance and supervision to customers on the installations.
Conduct on-site interpretation of data and technical instruction.
Hands-on on-site parts replacement, testing, and verification of electrical equipment.
Complete site documentations such as weekly safety update, installations check lists, pre-commissioning, and commissioning procedures.
Adhere with company Health and Safety policies and work in safe and best practice manner to ensure the wellbeing of personnel and equipment are not compromised.
Able to interface at upper management and peer’s levels of the organization both internally and externally in clear and methodical manner.
In charge for the whole scope of site activities from site mobilization to final acceptance, acting under the direction and on behalf of the Project/Service Manager.
Lead the site team and manage the execution of the Project scope of work.
Establish and maintain performance metrics to measure program/project success.
Install process excellence support for program/project governance, project reviews, etc.
Ensure that schedule, quality, and cost in compliance with contractual obligations, company policy and local regulations includes Install & Commissioning and retrofit & upgrade projects.
