About the Role
We are looking for a Lead HR Partner for our Hydro Power North America division within GE Vernova.
Responsibilities
Work in partnership with leaders to implement short- and long-term HR strategies and drive HR programs that directly support and enable business goals.
Be the first point of contact for employees and managers by providing coaching and support for individual employee needs and HR processes.
Act as a coach within the organization, building organizational capabilities, reducing complexity, and partnering with internal clients to maximize team performance.
Provide ongoing support to the leaders and employees on all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
Work in partnership with the Talent Acquisition team and functional HRBPs to attract, develop and retain talent globally.
Ensure compliance with local labor laws and internal policies.
Support talent assessment in the organization, identifying key employee strengths and development needs in order to recognize and develop key talents and select the best candidates.
Work on succession planning and talent development strategies for the organization, identifying critical roles and preparing potential talent and pipelines for mentoring, training, etc.
Support managers through critical HR operational rhythms such as talent reviews, salary planning and performance management.
Support employees in their occasional needs, both in Canada and in the US.
Lead and participate in HR projects and initiatives in the region.
