About the Role

The Delivery Manager is a pivotal part of the services organization, who owns the project’s Delivery Model and is the Technical Leader on the Project.

Responsibilities

  • Share responsibility with the Project Manager for scope management, schedule, risk management, and quality management.
  • Accountable for the end-to-end software delivery to meet the schedule, cost and quality commitments.
  • Build effective Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and accurately track, update, and report task activity progress.
  • Communicate effectively with Project Manager, Customer, Project team on project and technical items.
  • Trigger and validate engineering Gate Reviews within GE and the customer.
  • Utilize software delivery performance measurement tools and indicators.
  • Drive excellence in execution through continuous improvement and change management.
  • Work with one or more Scrum Teams to execute and deliver solutions for customers.
  • Validate project scope review in coordination with the Solution Design team.
  • Assist in the tendering process for project proposals or change requests.
