About the Role
The Community Relations Manager serves as a community engagement liaison to local plant communities, leads direct engagement with residents and community leaders, manages local charitable giving and employee volunteerism, and works closely with various departments to promote the company's benefits to the community and support stakeholder relations efforts.
Responsibilities
Maintain regular physical presence in the local community for activation and relationship building
Partner with Government Affairs for cohesive strategy across stakeholders
Build strategies for two-way dialogue and listening to local community needs
Identify and build relationships with key local community leaders and organizations
Host community information nights and lead Clean Energy Center tours
Conduct and/or share survey insights
Develop and implement local communications approach
Lead local community involvement and related public relations efforts
Develop and activate local communication strategy and tactics
Attend key community events
Build cross-functional teams to integrate community relations strategy into internal communications, public relations, and marketing plans
Lead local philanthropy and employee volunteerism
Administer local philanthropy budget
Support employee giving campaign at local sites
Lead local storytelling for philanthropy and volunteerism
