As a Hands-on Tesla Automation Controls Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the operational availability of a wide array of Plastics center manufacturing equipment and networks. You will apply your technical skills to install, wire, maintain and repair electrical/controls/monitoring systems of the existing equipment or contribute to continuous improvement projects and equipment modifications. Work closely with Controls engineers and Maintenance teams to proactively troubleshoot equipment issues and minimizing/eliminate downtime. To support some of the existing equipment, technicians may wear a fall protection harness while working from heights and occasionally will lift to 50 lbs. and utilize power tools or hand tools and as needed.
