Job Description
The Lead Production Technician at Commonwealth Fusion Systems is responsible for leading a team in the construction of high temperature superconducting magnets and assemblies for fusion devices, while ensuring production efficiency, quality control, and adherence to schedules during the second shift.
Responsibilities
- •Lead a team in building high temperature superconducting magnets and assemblies
- •Continuously improve production tasks
- •Maintain production schedules and resource allocation
- •Ensure quality requirements are met according to documentation
- •Work with mechanical, electrical, magnetic, cryogenic, pressure, vacuum, and pneumatic systems
Requirements
- •Lead a fast-paced and agile team building high temperature superconducting magnets and assemblies for integration into CFS fusion devices.
- •Continuously improve production tasks, maintain schedules with resourcing, and assure quality requirements are met per documentation.
- •Work with mechanical, electrical, magnetic, cryogenic, pressure, vacuum, and pneumatic systems.
- •Work the Second Shift from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm.
