Job Description

The Analyst Relations Senior Manager at Samsara will develop and manage strategic engagement programs with industry analysts to enhance the company's visibility and influence in the market, particularly in areas like Industrial IoT and cloud computing. This role involves building relationships with key analysts, advising internal teams on engagement strategies, and collaborating across departments to ensure effective communication of Samsara's product offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own strategic analyst engagement programs.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key industry and market analysts.
  • Advise internal leaders on analyst engagement strategy and market dynamics.
  • Educate the analyst community on company direction and product roadmaps.
  • Drive collaboration across product management, engineering, and marketing.
  • Create joint content with analysts, including webinars and ROI studies.
  • Educate teams on analyst perspectives and materials.
  • Develop presentations to increase visibility in the analyst community.
  • Utilize a data-driven approach to improve presence in comparative analyst reports.
  • Champion and embed Samsara's cultural principles.

Requirements

  • 10 years of specialized experience in the Analyst Relations and Communications functions at a high growth scaling technology company.
  • Ability to develop, launch and scale a comprehensive Analyst Relations function from scratch for a growing global B2B enterprise software company.
  • Experience managing vendor evaluations related to cloud data management, IoT, cloud software and or to Gartner Magic Quadrants, IDC MarketScapes, and Forrester Waves, and similar reports.
  • Proven track record of developing and maintaining relationships with key influencers, leading industry analysts and analyst firms, as well as securing coverage.
  • Able to manage cross-functional teams, influence others without authority, including senior management.
  • Strong project, organizational, and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as presentation skills.
  • Technical- and business-benefit understanding of prevailing and emerging technologies.
  • BS/BA degree in business, marketing, public relations, communications, and or a related technical field.
