Job Description
The TechOps Generalist at Octopus Energy Services will focus on improving technical processes and productivity within the company, supporting employee onboarding, device enrollment, and training while collaborating closely with the TechOps team and leadership.
Responsibilities
- •Support Octopus Energy Services in improving technical processes and increasing productivity.
- •Enhance employee onboarding, device enrollment processes, and training.
- •Collaborate with the leadership team and report back to the TechOps team with improvement ideas.
- •Define and shape the TechOps function at Octopus.
- •Provide world-class support services to employees.
Requirements
- •Experience in a role such as Desktop support analyst, 1st line support, 2nd line support, Systems engineer, DevOps, Tech support, Technical support, Technical support analyst, IT support, IT desktop support, Systems Administrator, Network Administrator, Workplace technology, Solutions specialist, Solutions administrator, Systems manager, or Support manager.
- •Ability to work closely with leadership teams and report back to the TechOps team with information and ideas for improvement.
- •Experience in improving technical processes and increasing productivity.
- •Experience in employee onboarding, device enrollment processes, and training.
- •Ability to deal with ambiguity and tackle varying challenges across the company.
- •A cloud-first approach to technology and operations.
