Job Description
The Civil Engineering Project Manager at Woodard Curran will oversee civil engineering projects for both private and public clients, managing client relationships, project scope, schedule, and budget while leading a team in delivering high-quality site civil design and permitting services.
Responsibilities
- •Maintain and establish relationships with clients to manage civil engineering projects' scope, schedule, budget, and delivery.
- •Lead the delivery of projects involving technical advice, planning, design, permitting, and construction phase services.
- •Prepare proposals, conduct project interviews, and engage in marketing activities for business development.
- •Manage and supervise project teams utilizing technical and administrative staff.
- •Select, coordinate, and manage subcontractors while estimating costs and managing project tasks.
- •Write reports and interact with project staff, clients, and regulatory agencies.
Requirements
- •Experience delivering high-quality site civil design and permitting services for projects across the firm's geography and core markets.
- •Ability to maintain and establish relationships with clients to procure and manage the scope, schedule, budget, and delivery of civil engineering projects.
- •Experience in providing technical advice, planning, design, permitting, and construction phase services for civil engineering projects.
- •Experience managing and supervising projects utilizing technical and administrative staff.
- •Ability to lead and complete technical tasks as required to support the projects.
- •Experience in selecting, coordinating, and managing subcontractors.
- •Experience in estimating costs and managing the scope, schedule, and budget for various project tasks.
- •Ability to write reports and interact with project staff, clients, and regulatory agencies.
- •Willingness to travel up to 10% in Northern Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts.
- •Preferred office location in Portland, ME, with a flexible hybrid work schedule of 3 days in the office per week.
