Solid Power is seeking a Technology Integration Intern to join our talented team of engineers and scientists working to revolutionize the battery industry through the development of next-generation, all solid-state rechargeable batteries. About the Role
Work closely with and under the direction of scientists and engineers to execute planned experimentation in the lab and on pilot production equipment.
Responsibilities
Support cell design & process development efforts throughout the product development cycle with a specific focus on chemical and electrochemical characterization and optimization.
Utilize analytical instruments including (but not limited to) DSC, Rheometers, DMA, and FTIR.
Utilize analytical techniques such as tensile testing, cell testing, and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy.
Communicate results and make recommendations for future experimentation or formulation improvements for our electrolyte and conductive slurry recipes.
Support lab experimentation through sample preparation, data collection, data analysis, diligent maintenance of records, and accurate reporting of data.
