About Tesla

The Thermal Systems Software team is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer who will be at the center of new development of vehicle thermal systems on all Tesla Vehicles. They will be responsible for ensuring software development, integration, and validation for new vehicle features are designed, implemented, and tested to achieve Tesla’s standards for safety and customer experience. Tesla Thermal Systems manage the temperature of critical powertrain systems like the battery, drive units and charger. Tesla has developed sophisticated industry leading thermal management systems for our vehicles and this role will focus on heating and cooling of the powertrain and vehicle cabin to deliver peak performance and efficiency. The Thermal System Integration Engineer will lead initiatives to make the system more robust and fault tolerant, introduce new hardware pedigrees, enable new features, increase performance, and refine the overall system. Integration engineers are expected to get into the thermal systems by reviewing and developing source code, root causing issues, proposing solutions to complex problems, and testing prototype software implementation in-vehicle.
