About the Role

The Sr. EHS Site Leader- Fixed Facilities will act as GE Bangor’s leader and point of contact for Environmental Health, Safety, and compliance for the Bangor, ME Gas Turbine Value Stream manufacturing operation.

Responsibilities

Lead individuals located at manufacturing sites and fixed facilities that provide daily EHS support for that facility.
Lead and mentor a team of EHS professionals and manage contracted occupational health clinic and security services.
Utilize broad and specialized EHS knowledge to influence the development of strategy for the area of responsibility.
Interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend or implement best practices.
Make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems in areas of emergency response, operational, product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering.
