Responsibilities

• Function as the front-line leader and provide ongoing leadership of assigned personnel.
• Select, train, develop, and provide ongoing leadership and direction of assigned personnel.
• Assure operation planning - provides direction to support needs of production area.
• Ensure team members are provided adequate training, resources, and support.
• Be responsible for meeting the shift's strict EHS requirements, product quality requirements, and production schedule requirements.
• Collaborate with the Kaizen Promotion Officer to perform workshops.
• Proficiently utilize a variety of Microsoft Office applications daily for data tracking, reporting, etc.
• Support, encourage, and facilitate Human Performance principles.
• Focus team on constantly seeking opportunity for improvement.
• Work with manufacturing engineering, support functions, and manufacturing leadership.
• Communicate business goals, programs, and processes to shift.
• Promote team engagement and ownership.
• Support manufacturing leaders in the strategic planning of staffing, equipment, and other resources.
• Perform other relevant duties as assigned.
