About Fluence

Fluence is seeking a high-caliber Senior Systems Engineer to join the Sustaining Engineering team. Sustaining Engineering is responsible for optimizing the in-service product line at Fluence.

About the Role

As a Senior Systems Engineer (Sustaining), you will lead the investigation and resolution of challenging problems for in-service products.

Responsibilities

Develop a holistic view of the product and lead initiatives to optimize product performance.
Solve difficult electrical and control problems affecting a battery energy storage system.
Fully own key initiatives as the leader of small teams of engineers and other stakeholders.
Provide written and verbal reports to leadership.
Prepare change requests, technical bulletins, and design documents.
Complete battery energy storage system project site visits.
Lead in the preparation and execution of tests of BESS systems.
Recommend new initiatives to optimize product performance.
Contribute to the mentorship of Fluence colleagues.
