About the Role
The Senior Engineer, Development Engineering - Wind will be responsible for collaborating with the project team in developing, planning, scheduling, budgeting, Engineering Procurement & Construction (EPC) negotiations, contracting, technical review, BOP design, and economic optimization of utility-scale wind projects.
Responsibilities
Collaborating with the Project development team on the EPC RFP process
Control project timeline to align and coordinate EPC and Turbine supplier schedules
Monitor the timely deliverables and review of design documents from engineering consultants
Develop strategic relationships with the major EPCs and engineering consultants
Work collaboratively with EPC contractors, developers, and wind resource analysts
Support Clearway’s domestic content strategy for PTC and ITC-qualified projects
Collaborate on the development and submission of PPA proposals
Handle the diverse design and complex constructability of new and repower wind projects
Collaborate on reports for leadership that will demonstrate the project’s readiness for financing and construction
Traveling to projects under development and in construction
