About the Role
As a Research Engineer - Electrical Systems you will be working closely with a highly experienced multidisciplinary team to continue the development of sensing technologies for our wide range of customers.
Responsibilities
Design innovative approaches in transducers, signal interrogators, and data analytics for gas and physical sensors
Work with a multidisciplinary team of Scientists, Engineers, and Technicians creating new state of the art in sensor systems for low Size Weight and Power (SWaP) solutions
Communicate status updates with key stakeholders within and outside GE Vernova Advanced Research
Collaborate with industrial, academic, and Governmental partners on system level sensing solutions
Work directly with customers to understand their needs and to identify future opportunities
Build sensor system solutions specific to needs of our diverse customers
Contribute to all aspects of industrial sensor systems research
Identify, conduct, and interpret critical experiments to validate sensor systems concepts and present research findings to senior management
Develop, write, and present research plans and proposals internal to GE Vernova Advanced Research and to outside agencies and collaborators as appropriate
Present research results at conferences and publish in leading journals
Build and maintain a technical network including universities and government agencies
