About the Role

As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you will guide Fluence's success by bringing your knowledge and expertise to help us maintain our culture as we grow.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for inspecting, sampling, measuring, or weighing process or assembled parts or products for defects per specifications.
  • Evaluate compliance using relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with specifications, operating procedures or standards.
  • Responsibilities include inspection, analysis of results, detecting nonconforming conditions and reporting.
  • Work with different cross-functional groups to ensure project success by developing inspection plans, including traceability, ensuring requirements coverage at loading, and reporting nonconforming.
  • Interfaces with contract manufacturer organizations, external suppliers, customers, to evaluate and communicate accomplishment of project inspection priorities through all phases in the manufacturing quality inspection process flow.
  • Communicates, educates, trains and coaches’ customers, suppliers, and internal personnel regarding quality policies, processes and procedures.
  • Gather, record, and analyze inspection results and data, maintaining documentation such as logbooks and checklists.
  • Work with the Fluence quality and process engineers to revise and update standard operating procedures (SOP), analytical procedures and protocols.
  • Communicate with the contract manufacturer to reduce the amount of non-conforming product received and in-process.
  • Support the quality engineer with performing QMS audits per the approved audit schedule.
