About the Role

The Project Planner will plan a portfolio of projects as part of the US Equipment Planning team. In this role, you will develop and maintain an integrated project equipment schedule to support project reporting and on time delivery analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains equipment schedules via Primavera P6 for assigned projects in alignment with Global Equipment Planning processes.
  • Ensures equipment schedules accurately reflect project scope and execution strategy.
  • Proactively monitors equipment forecasts to highlight risks in meeting on time delivery or to highlight inaccurate data.
  • Works cross-functionally with project team members to resolve issues or implement mitigation strategies.
  • Acts as a resource for project team members and supports with data, analysis, and root causes of schedule variances.
  • Communicates to functions impacts of execution strategy changes and resulting changes to required dates.
  • Ensures reports for other functions and customers accurately reflect status of project equipment.
  • Uses knowledge of best practices and how equipment schedule integrates with other source systems to solve issues as they arise.
  • Uses some judgement and has some ability to propose different solutions to address more complicated project scenarios.
  • Uses technical experience, analytical thinking, and business resources to arrive at solutions.
  • Leverages experience and expertise to lead small projects to improve processes and tools for the Equipment Planning team.
  • Supports US Equipment Planning team by leading or supporting operation rhythm meetings and processes.
