About the Role

Test bench setup and maintenance of multiple HiL platforms, interface with PCS OEM's for final preparation of model implementation on HiL, layout and design of grid model for controls validation tests, support configuration and integration of Fluence controls and telecommunications to HIL platforms, execute/run/automate tests and produce test report, feed results into Power-in-the-loop or P-HIL testing, gather those results and perform benchmarking, ensure lab and testing safety.

Requirements

• Experience with RTDS
• Typhoon HIL (Control Center)
• OPAL-RT (Hypersim)
• HIL platform and software
• Designing test cases
• Executing test cases
• Analyzing test cases
• Familiar with SCADA systems
• Communication protocols such as Modbus RTU/TCP, CAN, UDP
• Understanding of power plant controls
• Grid code requirements
• Confident user of electronic systems
