About the Role

The Power Electronics Hardware Development Engineer role belongs to a multicultural, multigeneration and diverse Power Electronics team.

Responsibilities

  • Simulate and design an overall Power Electronics system for Industrial application such as Marine Propulsion, Oil and Gas, Metals rolling mills, and Power generation applications.
  • Specify electrical components (Cables, Filters, Inductors, Capacitors, Transformers, Converters …) of the overall electrical power plant.
  • Write all project artifacts including Hardware and commissioning instructions.
  • Design new Voltage Source Inverter (IGBT or Sic) and new Thyristor converter (Rectifier LCI).
  • Support the project team on Hardware tasks as needed.
  • Support the Drive Test and Validation.
