About the Role

SPAN’s Power Electronics team is looking for an intuitive and multidisciplinary power electronics engineer intern to participate in developing different power converter platforms used in SPAN products.

Responsibilities

  • Support evaluation, testing, and the design of power converters.
  • Create schematics and layouts using Altium Designer.
  • Conduct circuit and power system modeling and simulation.
  • Validate Control algorithms and support SIL, HIL, and Hardware implementation.
  • Build prototype components and assemblies, optimizing components to meet system requirements.
  • Support Lab Test Setups, data collection, and analysis.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams.

Requirements

  • Passion for clean energy technology and decarbonization
  • Eager to learn and self-driven
  • Experience with first principles analysis of physical systems
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in Lab Testing environments with actual hardware prototypes or components
  • Hands-on experience in circuit design, debug, and test
  • Knowledge of power electronics basics
