About the Role
The Strategic Marketing Leader is a key member of the Wind Product Management General Manager’s staff, leading a global team responsible for understanding market dynamics and providing competitive insights.
Responsibilities
Partner with customers and cross-functional leaders to assess markets and develop new product investment options
Lead the team in conducting detailed analytics on customer proforma’s, PPA’s, and other relevant market data
Ensure that target countries are identified and have competitive multi-generational product plans connected to the business strategy
Own competitive intelligence and understand product competitiveness at the component, turbine, and plant level
Leverage data and insights to develop forward looking views on competitive landscape
Lead tollgate 1 (identifying market needs) and tollgate 2 (evaluating product options) across a large global business portfolio
Lead the multi-year strategy development process
Develop and own the product sustainability strategy, KPI’s, and operating rhythm
Attract talent, develop team, and foster an environment of strong engagement and accountability
Personally lead and mentor the team in continuous improvement activities and operationalizing standard work
