About the Role
The Onshore Wind Engineering Technician is a hands-on, in-person product validation role located in Schenectady, NY.
Responsibilities
Perform assembly and testing of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic support systems.
Interpret and understand schematics with a fundamental understanding of circuit theory.
Employ the use of electrical test equipment and instruments.
Employ the use of hand and power tools.
Audit and validate data for quality and completeness.
Utilize computer software to monitor, diagnose and repair equipment controls as necessary.
Perform Factory Acceptance Testing with customer oversight.
Initiate Quality Control Reports for out of specification test results.
Accurately and completely document information required for the process being performed.
