The Metrology Engineering Technician will work as a highly experienced technician in the dimensional engineering group. The successful candidate will work with different metrology equipment to program and/or run programs for part level sub-assemblies as dictated by the dimensional control plan or diagnostic request from engineering. There may be occasional work on the production floor with portable metrology equipment measuring parts on a car, part scans alone, tooling fixtures, material handling tooling etc. It is fundamental that the candidate has a strong background with interpreting GD&T part drawings and ability to create measurement program from scratch.
