The Electrical Hardware team is looking for highly motivated and talented individuals to develop innovative products to support Tesla’s SEMI platform. The Design Engineer will own design, development, and testing of harnesses and related components, which are integral to the functionality of Tesla’s products. Mechanical Engineers within the Electrical Hardware Engineering team tackle extremely difficult engineering challenges and continuously push beyond what was deemed impossible in regards to mechanical packaging, electrical and thermal performance, cost, and delivery timelines. Working closely with Electrical Engineers, Firmware Engineers, and Manufacturing Engineers, the technologies developed by the Mechanical Engineering team enable world class performance in our vehicles. This is evident by the level of innovation and functionality experienced in our vehicles. Such feats demand strong creativity, strict engineering rigor using first principle reasoning, and passion to push the boundaries of technology. You will work alongside exceptionally motivated Engineers in a fast and rapidly changing environment. You must be determined to make your designs successful and excited to engineer the best electric vehicles in the world.
