About the Role
The Maintenance Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for meeting business goals, driving TPM programs, and implementing continuous improvement processes for each cell’s equipment.
Responsibilities
Works with Production and Lean Teams to support TPM transition site wide.
Develop TPM Team to support Individual Production Cells to improve Operational Availability.
Lead Team to Implement TPM Program Element Strategies for each Production cell.
Lead KPI Projects and Initiatives to support Safety, Impaired Work Orders, Preventative Maintenance, Predictive Maintenance and TPM / Project Work Orders to improve the Overall Value or the Maintenance Organization.
Support EHS projects in cell to ensure equipment meets required safety regulations and specifications from OSHA, NFPA, NEC, IEC to provides a safe working environment.
Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline, analytical thinking, and technical experience to execute policy/strategy as it pertains to machine health.
Partner with Machine Utilization Team to complete Dimensional Verification study of machine and equipment function including machine level, alignment, and repeatability.
Work closely with Members of the production team to improve cell’s manufacturing equipment and achieve superior product quality.
Utilize Problem Solving Tools, via Predictive Technology to assist experienced Technicians in understanding Equipment Maintenance Issues.
Engineer concepts and creative solutions to improve the Overall Machine Health.
Manage and Schedule TPM work orders with Production cells.
Identify and Develop Training Plans to improve technician’s skills and abilities.
Liaison between OEM and Maintenance to enhance the equipment design and function.
Assist production Manufacturing Engineer in the design, build, and procurement of equipment, as it pertains to spare parts, preventative maintenance, predictive maintenance, repairs and rebuild of equipment, machine health strategy, and continuous improvement.
Conduct cost/benefit analysis for improvements to processes and/or equipment.
Uses expert judgment and ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters, to address complicated manufacturing equipment issues.
Collaborate with multiple external sources to arrive at World Class solutions.
Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
Lead projects and resource requirements to improve cell equipment.
