Responsibilities

• Approach all work order planning with the understanding that safety is the #1 priority.
• Receiving, reviewing and ensuring accuracy and completeness of all requests for plant work.
• Developing and drafting written maintenance plans that clearly communicate the work scope.
• Determining and arranging for materials, parts and special tools or equipment required to perform work order scope.
• Coordinating maintenance planning activities and reviewing work orders with the appropriate personnel.
• Provides fast response for support to plant operations as needed.
• Responsible for planning and scheduling the work of up to 8 mechanics, 8 electricians and outside contractor maintenance activities.
• Develop detailed job plans including the labor (type & quantity), materials, tools and work procedures for repairs.
• Responsible for the short and long term planning and scheduling of all maintenance activities.
• Support the Receiving Clerk in conducting the required materials procurement and kitting.
• Fill in for the Maintenance Supervisor during short periods of absence.
