About the Role

In this role, the Advanced Manufacturing and Repair Technology (AMRT) Machining and Technologies Engineer will be responsible for developing, industrializing & globalizing machining processes, technologies, and equipment, on a variety of industrial gas turbine components.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team to develop and industrialize new machining processes and technologies.
  • Provide technical guidance regarding machining and tooling process aspects.
  • Assure all machining and tooling processes meet required specifications.
  • Support service programs to meet repair & new unit fulfillment.
  • Evaluate, test, and implement manufacturing processes.
  • Design and build / procure necessary tooling and finishing.
  • Communicate progress and maintain scheduled for the project deliverables.
  • Assure proper documentation of technical data generated.
  • Mentor and train less experienced personnel.
