About Tesla

The Low Voltage Architecture and Circuitry team designs the “nervous system” for Tesla products including all vehicles, Robot, Dojo and future projects. We are involved from beginning to end of the design cycle and most known for our cutting edge 48V distribution and high safety integrity level for systems such as Autopilot, Steer by wire, etc. Key deliverables during the design phase include energy management, functional safety analysis, defining communication layouts and power flow, harness partitioning and cost studies, trace and wire sizing considering EMC, validation, de-bugging, and production ramp.We are looking for an Electrical Engineer who understands system level power delivery and grounding (could be from vehicles, servers, or equivalent complex systems), interconnect (electrical properties and reliability of wires, and connectors), and fundamentals of serial communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, Bluetooth, DP, etc.)
