About the Role
The Technical Sales Specialist demonstrates leadership in supporting the business’ goals, programs, and processes.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support including quotations for Power Sensing for Independent Owned Utilities (IOU’s), Public Power, and Utility Distributors
- Support Utility type customers in the NAM region for Application Engineering assistance
- Working with the engineering team on new design requirements to meet customer specifications
- Ensure quotations are meeting the business margin targets
- Track large quotations and determine success or hit rate with customers and territories
- Build & maintain relationships with the regional Sales Specialist, Channel partners, and the Grid Solutions sales force
- Provide sales training to the Sales team and Channels
- Participate in assessing the performance of sales Channels
- Be accountable for growing the Utility market share
- Provide customer training and participate in customer on-site meeting as required
- Provide Utility market and competitive intelligence to the team
- Assist in partner marketing activities such as tradeshows and other promotional activities
