About the Role
The Lead Project Planning Specialist – Marine is responsible for working closely with key stakeholders, project managers, technical experts and project leads on the creation and maintenance of project schedules.
Responsibilities
Lead the development of detailed schedules, in Primavera P6, from cradle to completion in alignment with customer requirements.
Generate graphical reports using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Excel for both internal and external customers.
Provide consulting support to technical work scope owners by analyzing program plans to help develop proposal and preliminary schedules.
Act as the scheduling point of contact in audits and program reviews.
Participate in project meetings, schedule follow-up meetings representing both project and planning interests.
Evaluate project schedule and progress for validity and accuracy of project and resource requirements.
Provide weekly/monthly accurate and realistic assessment of project schedules, identify, and report problem areas.
Constantly monitor OTD (On Time Delivery) performance and objectives per schedule.
Create and update scheduling procedures and standard work within the operations team.
