• Embrace GE Hitachi Nuclear safety culture.
• Develop team members knowledge base of metal working processes.
• Serve as project leader on welding capital projects.
• Support other manufacturing areas on site for welding related matters.
• Maintain and modernize manufacturing techniques and process monitoring.
• Specify proper equipment or welding centers for acquisition.
• Technical leader for first piece qualifications and serial production.
• Develop programs and welding solutions.
• Develop and support nitride, heat treat and clean room processes.
• Technical writing of work instructions and standard work.
• Work cross-functionally with design and quality engineering.
• Maintain, review, update, and create area manufacturing documents.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and quality regulations.
• Utilize Lean Manufacturing principles for continuous improvement.
