About the Role

A Lead Engineer in Outage Engineering will develop and deliver Outage Servicing Tools and Equipment that are used during maintenance, inspection, refueling and outages in both Boiling Water Reactors and Pressurized Water Reactors at domestic and international Nuclear Plants.

Responsibilities

  • Execute the design, development and analysis for specialty tooling and equipment using sound engineering principles.
  • Develop Outage Servicing Tooling and Equipment of medium to high complexity.
  • Demonstrate solid knowledge of Mechanical Design principles.
  • Proactively communicate and deliver assignments on time.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risk.
  • Communicate technical detail to fabricators.
  • Generate operational instructions for newly developed tools and equipment.
  • Provide emergent issue response to Field Services teams and Customers.
