About the Role

A Lead Engineer in Inspection Engineering will develop and deliver Inspection Tools that are used to perform NDE Inspections of both Boiling Water Reactors and Pressurized Water Reactors at domestic and international Nuclear Plants.

Responsibilities

  • Execute the design, and development for specialty tooling and equipment using sound engineering principles.
  • Develop robotic inspection tooling of medium to high complexity.
  • Proactively communicate and deliver assignments on time.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risk.
  • Communicate technical detail to fabricators and technicians.
  • Generate operational instructions for newly developed tools and equipment.
  • Provide emergent issue response to Field Services teams and Customers as required.
  • Interface with a broad, multi-disciplinary team.
