About the Role
Serve as owner of one or more NPI manufacturing projects to ensure CMs are onboarded and brought up to production readiness according to program requirements.
Responsibilities
Lead team of advanced manufacturing engineers in the development and launch of new manufacturing production lines
Coordinate prototype manufacturing activities including prototyping, purchasing/logistics, schedule, budget
Ability to provide a forecast for CAPEX expenditures
Collaborate cross functionally across a matrix of functions throughout the program/projects
Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the NPI process
Identify and clearly communicate potential manufacturing risks associated with NPI
Create and maintain AME deliverables related to new production
Participate in design and DFA/DFM reviews
Serve as liaison between contract manufacturer, engineering, and procurement
Support company initiatives including cost reduction and quality targets
Travel 25-75% time depending on stage of production maturity
