About the Role
The Key Account Manager (KAM) – Power Transmission is responsible for leading all Grid Solutions activities for the GE Grid Solutions Power Transmission business line at Utility Accounts in an assigned sales area.
Responsibilities
Account leadership role responsible for leading the Grid Solutions account strategy in all aspects of growth and profitability.
Develop and execute commercial strategy for sale of Grid Solutions Power Transmission business line products and services.
Own the accurate forecasting of orders, convertible orders, margins, and sales for customer(s).
Lead the sales team to develop and execute account growth strategies and Account Planning.
Develop and own strategic customer relationships with key decision makers.
Drive identification, prospecting and creation of new sales opportunities.
Help develop written strategies for pursuing opportunities at strategic customer accounts.
Provide feedback regarding market trends, pricing and competition to product line marketing.
Help sales team grow installed base and develop new customer contacts.
