We are dedicated to providing an experience that allows the intern to experience life at Tesla by including them in projects that are critical to their team’s success. The Vehicle Performance Modeling team is looking for the best and brightest to join our system architecture and modeling effort. Our team works cross-functionally with all powertrain engineering teams to maintain a comprehensive vehicle model, and leverage it for architecture design, setting requirements, and predicting vehicle performance. As designs and requirements evolve, we leverage our model to inform trade-offs and improvements to keep the world’s best vehicles industry leading. This role will be closely integrated with the development, implementation, and utilization of component and system models. You will work with performance modeling engineers on a variety of analyses spanning the engineering lifecycle of various products and initiatives. The team is involved in architecture design, performance modeling, and validation for all of Tesla’s vehicle products, with a very exciting near-term roadmap that involves Cybertruck, Semi-truck, Robotaxi, and Roadster. Location: Palo Alto, CA
