About Tesla

The Security Engineering team is responsible for helping Tesla securely design, build, and operate life safety critical infrastructure across corporate, manufacturing and production environments. You will work on a broad set of efforts including the design and implementation of systems in new sites, ensuring survivability and resiliency is exceptional, driving the feature set forward, and working with construction teams, the broader business and vendors on project endeavors. Our public and private radio communication systems are life safety critical and your work will focus heavily on ensuring our current and future states produce a highly trusted tool for our Security, EHS, and Production teams. We are looking for an intern that is eager to learn and has a passion for life safety. You will play a critical role executing high-impact companywide initiatives and working to continuously improve the effectiveness of our org and the technologies we deploy. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, someone who enjoys learning by doing, and can communicate through barriers in a way that builds trust across the organization.
