As a Lead Project Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for the Quality segment of NAM GSI from inquiry to order & order to remittance on projects. This includes delivering documented quality deliverables to the customer and ensuring NAM GSI’s Quality program is thoroughly represented in all offerings.
About the Role
You will ensure compliance to all quality requirements from Project Management process and GE standards. You will foster Quality Assurance and Quality Control in all execution areas and assure we fulfill all contractual commitments provided to the Customer.
Responsibilities
Read, understand, and analyze the Project Contract in terms of QA/QC.
Provide the Contract QA/QC requirements to the Project Team.
Define the Project specific processes and documents as per Contract Requirements.
Consolidate lessons learned from projects.
Develop and Issue the Project Quality Plan and Inspection Test Plan.
Ensure all product compliance requirements are properly addressed.
Implement, support, and monitor compliance with project processes & tools.
Prepare and Coordinate with Customer and Supply Chain quality Inspections.
Ensure execution as per GE requirements.
Ensure quality records are created as per required.
Coordinate processes related to quality and growth initiatives.
Lead the overall Quality strategy and execution plan for assigned projects.
Own quality deliverables and KPIs for assigned projects.
Work with Project Team and customer-specific engineering team(s).
Recognize potential shortfalls in design processes.
Perform RCAs (root cause analysis) and execute corrective actions.
Manage key customer technical quality issues.
Interface with internal and external team members.
