About Tesla

Tesla is seeking an experienced Industrial Hygienist to manage health risks associated with battery and vehicle manufacturing. The ideal candidate will use their technical knowledge and leadership skills to drive engineering solutions upstream into factory design, construction, commissioning, and production processes. The candidate will serve as a subject matter expert for EHS and engineering partners, working cross functionally to integrate appropriate safeguards and controls into the factory system. While serving Tesla’s mission, the Industrial Hygienist will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental health and safety requirements, as well as conformance to internal EHS policies, standards and systems.   This role is based out of Tesla’s manufacturing facility in Austin, TX and is part of Tesla’s Global Environmental Health, Safety and Security (EHS&S) team.
