About the Role
The primary responsibility of the Government Subcontract Administrator will be to ensure subcontracts are placed in accordance with the GE Procurement Policies and US Government regulations.
Responsibilities
Develop and lead negotiations for compliant subcontract agreement templates based on the customers’ terms and conditions.
Receive subcontractors' responses to RFQ/RFP and determine each subcontractors’ ability to meet GE and USG requirements.
Serve as liaison between the technical and government ops teams regarding subcontracting issues.
Document subcontract files in compliance with FAR/DFAR Regulations and company policies and procedures.
Source and procure specialized goods and services.
Own contractual management for the supplier.
In conjunction with quality organization, evaluates and monitors supplier quality and reliability.
Initiate and complete subcontractor closeout procedures.
Responsible for ensuring compliance with government laws and internal operational policies.
Support the maintenance of GEPC's Government Business Systems.
Draft, update, and maintain GE policies and procedures.
