About the Role
The Global Process Engineering Authority (GPEA) will work closely with the Global Process Engineering Leader (GPEL) for the Gas Value Stream, primary focus area will be process automation and part conveyance.
Responsibilities
Define and control production process including automated fixturing, part conveyance methods, no-lift solutions, and equipment integration standards.
Validate design specifications and shop floor application of new product, tools, or equipment to ensure it interfaces with automation standards.
Influence the development of strategy for the area of responsibility, including control of resources and influences policy formulation.
Engage design for SixSigma methodology (DFSS), including, measuring existing machine capability, analyzing process requirements, and developing a strategy to maintain / improve process yield.
Deploy lean principles, including, Transformation Planning, 3P (Production Preparation Process), Total Productive Maintenance, Standard Work, Kaizen, Problem Solving, and Poka Yoke.
