About the Role

Mechanical Engineer will contribute to a team responsible for new reactor development and existing fleet support.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new products & design modifications to improve existing products
  • Understand the fabrication processes for component and assemblies
  • Prepare drawings and specifications for new and existing fuel designs
  • Provide well written, well organized documented engineering analyses
  • Perform design reviews and production readiness reviews
  • Address emergent customer and manufacturing issues
  • Work closely with sourcing and manufacturing to support cost reduction activities
  • Design test procedures and perform testing to address component and assembly adequacy
  • Develop procedures and work to improve engineering productivity
  • Engage customers to define scope, review results, and discuss technical risks
