The Gas Turbine Product Service Engineer will provide technical guidance and support to GE Vernova Gas Turbine customers with specific focus on Hot Section, comprises of Hot Gas Path components and/or Combustion parts.
About the Role
This role will provide opportunity to collaborate with interface teams to identify root cause and resolutions, practice decisions making with limited data, leverage engineering judgement and interact with customers.
Responsibilities
Provide resolution to customers technical issues in Gas Turbine hot section timely and efficiently by coordinating across other interfacing organizations such as manufacturing, sourcing, services operations, quality, design engineering etc.
Contribute to the culture of safety by proactively identifying safety concerns and escalating them appropriately.
Communicate progress of customer issues across all levels of the GE Vernova internal organization as well as support customers technical review meetings.
Establish and maintain relationships with GE Vernova internal organizations to ensure that customer requirements are understood and being addressed.
Author customer communications regularly to update users’ community externally and document & share lessons & best practices internally within GE Vernova community.
Collaborate with operations & site team to support unplanned/forced outages and enable the customer units back into operation.
Practice the culture of continuous improvement by employing lean tools and principles.
